Once a month there is an opportunity cultivate an inner awareness of the Divine presence within and around us through the contemplative practices of silence and solitude. On the first Saturday of each month we come together to share in the monastic practices of; silent prayer, sacred study and mindful work.
The day is also punctuated by reflective time in nature as weather permits. This is a wonderful time to drop our worries and busyness, allowing ourselves to just be in the moment. Although the day follows a monastic rhythm, it is ecumenical in nature and is open to all regardless of belief or spirituality.
All are welcome, but please contact us in advance in case there has been a change in our schedule. The cost is $50/full day or $30/half day. You will need to bring a brown bag lunch, cushion or blanket for your sitting comfort. There are a few extra cushions, blankets and chairs also available.
